Winter was founded in Milan in 1991 in a large studio designed by the great architet Giò Ponti. A space that inspires brillant ideas and is the essence of the Italian style. In this magical space, with enthusiasm and passion, we have been trying to keep this tradition high in the art of cinematography for TV, cinema, radio and Web for more than thirty years. In more than three decades of experience we have created groundbreaking commercial for some of the most important toys companies worldwide. Our underlying thought is strategic, a perfect mix between addiction to our work, passion for great results and lots of fun! Art does not have to be beautiful, art must make emotions becoming true. To build a brand you have to create emotions. Emotions able to tell , even before the product, the image and guidelines of the brand itself.
With a targeted communication focused on the product features, the goal is to enhance the brand image and draw the attention of the audience. Without time limits (no 30” restrictions) the fantasy is free and released from any constrains. The world of the Web is constantly evolving and the attention of children is also influenced by this trend. We develop communications plans creating an integrated communication. Starting from a single image/concept, in the same way as we were talking about a unique “fabric”, we spread it over all the planned materials. We strongly believe that the TV commercial is still a “MUST HAVE” of an effective communication strategy and its role is essential for the building up of the Brand Image. Tutorials, Unboxing and “social contents” reinforce and complete the product storytelling and, since there are no time limitations on the Web, the product can be described accurately through all its features and pluses.
Every product has its own identity and a soul that makes it different and unique. This is the starting point from which our creative team begins to create a story with the aim of making each story “another story“. The workflow is organized by a series of precise steps: starting from the detailed analysis of the brief, the producers coordinate every stage of the production process thanks to a constant communication and cooperation of the varoius persons responsible of each stage of the process: creative development, storyboarding, copywriting, audio-mixing, production and post-production. Producing everything in-house with a structured approach allows us to anticipate what the path will be , and enable us to confirm the client’s expectations and to reduce any issues with a consequent costs reduction . All this allows Winter to ensure a matchless quality-price ratio. Winter can take advantage of 3 shooting studios, one of these specialized for the green screen. We shoot all of our commercial with the RED Digital Camera, the best in terms of resolution and quality.
When we talk about “ALL IN -HOUSE” we mean it in the widest sense. For this reason, inside our structure, we can count on a team of artists dedicated exclusively to the animation. Six Computer- Generated Imagery artists constantly updated about the latest news from the world of animation , highly qualified and with proven backgrounds in computer graphic can ensure 3D Compositing, Animation, Motion graphics and 2D animation guaranteeing a result that makes the CGI produced by Winter one of our strenghts, a distinguishing factors and source of pride. The creative team and the producers study the storyboard together with the 3D director in order to optimize production times and minimise response times. Color Correction and visual effects are made with the most update software.
